Perfect for bell ringer activity or whenever you need to get in some reading skills practice! This easy to play dice game comes in two versions and uses cute winter-themed game pieces. Practice decoding and spelling consonant + le words to boost reading and fluency, while having fun!
Version 1: Students roll the dice and follow the arrows to move the number of spaces. Then, they decode the word they landed on and read it aloud. If correct, remain on the space; if incorrect, return to previous space. First one to the finish line wins!
Version 2: Students roll the dice and follow the arrows to move the number of spaces to decode the word they landed on and read it aloud. Then, they close their eyes and spell it aloud. If correct, remain on the space; if incorrect, return to previous space. First one to the finish line wins!
This game comes in color but looks nice printed in grayscale too.
