Constellations – Northern Hemisphere, NQ2
This set of constellation graphics are those that can be found in the NQ2 quadrant in the Northern Hemisphere. There are 33 images altogether, and includes 3 variations each of 10 constellations plus an additional adaptation (the Big Dipper) found in NQ2: black, silver, and grey/silver. All are in .png format, so that the background is transparent. Most files are of a large enough size so that they can fit a 4 x 6 index card without quality loss, and they can easily be resized to make them smaller.
Black – can be used to create worksheets, in science journals, games, flashcards, in newsletters, on websites for illustration, as a visual model, etc.
Silver – These look good on a black background in PowerPoint presentations, Jeopardy games, etc.
Grey-Silver – These are a variation of the silver, and also look good on a darker background. The stars stand out a bit more in these, while the connecting lines are more subtle.
NQ2 Constellations included in this file:
Ursa Major (Big Dipper)
