Students are assigned (or choose, based on your preference) one of the 27 Constitutional amendments, research it, and give a speech. They describe what the amendment does, the history behind getting it passed, and the reason why they SUPPORT the amendment.
The document includes guidelines for the speech project, a sample speech outline, info on how to document research sources, a sign-up sheet containing a list of the amendments and a brief description of each, a practice section for peers to sign-off indicating they listened to the student's speech, and a rubric for assessment.
