This activity allows students to construct a visual map of the US Constitution. This can be used for Constitution Day or for part of a unit on the US Constitution. Students use computers to find out how many words are in each of the Articles of the Constitution. They then calculate the percentages and create a visual map using colored pencils.
This activity is a fantastic way for students to visualize the content of the Constitution. I do this lesson as I am introducing the Constitution so I can refer back to the content of different Articles.
