Product Description
This is a 12 page booklet that teaches young learners about the American Constitution. It reads as follows:

Title: The American Constitution

The Constitution was written in 1787
It is over 200 years old.

In 1787, a group of men we call The Framers met to write the Constitution because they did not
like the way the country was going.

Two of the most important Framers of the Constitution are George Washington and Benjamin Franklin.

The Framers met in Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

After a lot of discussion, they agreed to the words in the Constitution.

The states then approved the Constitution.

The Constitution tells how the Government works. It creates the Presidency, the Congress and the Supreme Court.

The Constitution lists some key rights called the Bill of Rights.

The Bill of Rights protects ideas. It protects your right to say what you want.

On September 17th we observe Constitution Day because that was the day the constitution was signed in 1787.

It is a day for schools to teach students the history of the American Constitution.
