There are two ways to use this activity. In order to complete either activity, you will need multiple copies of the United States Constitution. My social studies book has this, but I also have found numerous websites that feature it as well.
The first option is a Scavenger Hunt Activity. There are two levels of this assignment included. One includes where in the Constitution the students are to look for the answers; the other gives only the questions. There is also differentiation in terms of student choice; there are two reflection questions provided at the end of the Scavenger Hunt, and the students are instructed to pick only one.
The second option is a Scoot Activity. This has only one level. It includes the Scoot strips (which has directions for the teacher on how the activity is carried out), Scoot Answer Sheets for the students, and a Scoot Answer Key. The Scoot activity also includes a Scrambler Activity in addition to the same questions from the Scavenger Hunt.
If you choose the Scavenger Hunt option, you can also provide your students with the Scrambler Activity as something to work on if they finish their assignment early. (Again, this is already included in the Scoot Activity Answer Sheet.)
If you have any questions about the activities, please feel free to contact me.
I hope your students enjoy whichever activity you choose as much as mine do!
