Pattern Portrait Packs Found in My Store:
Theodor Seuss Geisel
What are pattern portraits?
They are portraits of famous people with patterns behind the image. When students color the patterns in a variety of different colors, the finished product is whimsical and fun. They can then color the realistic image of the famous person that is in front of the patterns. These are sure to add colorful pizzazz to your classroom. For the most pep from your portraits, tell your students to use lots of different colors and try not to have two of the same colors touching.
For each person, there is a choice of a pattern portrait coloring sheet, writing paper to glue to each one, and a pennant to make a class banner. Writing paper is formatted to glue to the coloring sheet or the pennant. The extra-long pennants are really neat! You can choose what you would like to use.

The people included in this pack are:
***If you would like me to consider adding someone else, just let me know. No promises, but I'll see what I can do.***
George Washington (He is also in my Presidents' Day pack)
This pack is for one classroom teacher, but additional licenses can be purchased for half price. ♡
***NOTE ABOUT THE DESIGN....You may have seen some other patterned art I posted in my store before now. You may have even purchased some of my holiday or pattern portraits. I apologize, but those first designs I uploaded have been removed. I had another seller request my original portrait art be removed because it looked too much like the style of art she sells in her store. I am okay with that request and I have worked hard to make this new version quite different by addressing all of the areas in the letter I received. ****
I would like to address those changes. With my updated version, there has been a name change, but I think "Pattern Portraits" and "Pattern Pictures"are really cute. The patterns are now behind the main image. My main image is no longer split into extra sections using diagonal lines overlaying the image. My main image sits on top of the patterns and does not have patterns as part of the main image. My writing paper is formatted to be attached to the pennants or the coloring page, or the pages can be used with out writing paper. As with any coloring activity, students get to pick their own colors. ****
I have given a sample in my thumbnail but each final product will be different.
With the creative changes to mine and with these new revisions, my work should not cause any confusion when comparing product lines, especially since all of the drawings of the famous people in history were drawn specifically with this product in mind. I love the updated version, and I hope you do too. I hope your students have fun adding some color and pizzazz to the classroom.****
Please... if you ever notice anything in my products that needs to be corrected, such as a date or any other factual information, please send me a message before you rate the product. I do my best to research thoroughly and provide historical facts. I can look back over and have a new copy uploaded fairly quickly.
Also, if you notice typos or anything else, that is appreciated too. Even with several sets of eyes looking over my work, at times a word can be missed. Thanks so much ahead of time.
