This is a comprehensive scavenger hunt of the U.S. Constitution. The students will be guided through Articles I - VII and analyze the following:
- Roles and responsibilities of Congress and how they check the other two branches.
- Roles and responsibilities of the President and how he checks the other two branches.
- Roles and responsibilities of the U.S. Supreme Court and how they check the other two branches.
- The Amendment process.
- The Supremacy Clause.
- Various Amendments that have been added to the Constitution.
*This can actually double as a great study tool once the students have completed it.
*This assignment is a Word document, so you may edit it to fit your state's standards if it differs from what I have. It aligns 100% with the Virginia SOL standards in Civics/Economics.
