The Constitution as a Living Document PowerPoint follows the 7th grade NYS curriculum and standards. It has an essential question, vocabulary, links and graphics. There are two ability levels of the PowerPoint. The basic version is slightly simplified and the enriched version contains links for enrichment. The content included is as follows:

The essential question appears at the beginning of the PowerPoint as well as at the end. This is the essential question:

What are the four ways to change the Constitution which make it a “living document”?

Why are there two ability levels? When I co-teach she has an open room which we can bring part of the class too. So we split up the class and each take a part. One teacher teaches the enriched version and the other teaches the basic. When I don't have a co-teacher I choose the ability level that is most appropriate for the majority of my class.
