This is a full in-class simulation where students take on the role of a delegate at the Constitutional Convention in 1789 to create their own version of the US Constitution. I have used this version with AP US History students, but it could be further scaffolded. Please check my store for the honors level version.
I use 2.5 90 minute blocks, with homework to finish their delegate resume, and the reflection.
Download includes: Teacher guide, student handouts, resume template, rubric, sample resume of Washington, specific delegate guide, assignment and score sheet for teacher, a post-Convention reflection for students, and more.
