Students take on the role of delegates from certain states that present at the Constitutional Convention.
Includes: Task, issues at hand, roles, rubric, state positions and stats, arguments, and area for students to form their own arguments
They should form arguments based on their states' biases and opinions
Then they will negotiate until they formed compromises to agree on a government
Should end with students proposing resolutions to each of the issues and a secret ballot.
This took my classes 3, 50 minute, periods to complete, but could certainly be condensed.
