This is a full in-class simulation where students take on the role of a delegate at the Constitutional Convention in 1789 to create their own version of the US Constitution. I have used this version with honors level students, but it could be further scaffolded. I use 2.5 90 minute blocks, with homework to finish their delegate resume, and the reflection.
