Description
Looking for a fun way to reinforce area and perimeter of rectangles and squares? How about volume of a rectangular prism? Look no further! This challenge is a fun way to engage students in rigorous and relevant problem solving!
Students can pretend they are construction workers and they will complete challenges that involve creating and constructing figures that have certain dimensions, area, perimeter or volume. Students will "earn" money for a job well done from the Construction Foreman (which is you :)
This is a super fun, competitive and rigorous activity that will reinforce TEKS 5.6A and 5.6B and 5.4A
