Do you need to spice up your teaching? Transform your classroom into a Construction Site for the day with this Construction Day packet. Your students will love completing construction themed academic tasks. Students will work on reading, math, and writing throughout the day.

What does this product include?

The packet includes ideas for transforming your classroom for a Construction Day, signs, stations labels, letter home, construction themed stations (Sentence Builder, Project Poetry, Constructing Numbers, Awesome Architect, Detailed Designer, Sentence Renovation), ABC Order, word search, making words, construction vocabulary, construct a story, and construction cause & effect.

Who is this product geared towards?

This Construction Day is geared towards 1st grade classrooms, but some Kindergarten or 2nd grade classroom could also make this work.

How can I use this product in my classroom?

Having a Construction Day can be done with very little prep work. I have included all of the printables that you will need. I personally put up some decorations in my classroom that I purchased on Amazon for my own son's birthday party. I used yellow tableclothes on my tables and put Caution tape around the room. I also purchased construction hats for each of my students.
