In this unit students will learn about drawing and constructing shapes in Maths. They will start by representing 3-dimensional shapes in 2-D using isometric drawings and plans and elevations, before learning how to use bearings and then constructing different types of triangles, perpendiculars and bisectors before using these constructions to construct loci and use those loci to solve problems.

This pack is designed to provide teachers with complete lesson plans and classroom resources to teach excellent lessons. It is designed to both teach the mathematical content and draw students into deeper consideration of its implications, including mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills.
