Product Description
A hands-on constructivist approach to understanding two and three dimensional measurement and geometry. Students build and model area and surface area of two dimensional objects- rectangles, parallelograms, trapezoids and circles and extend this to volume of prisms. Through a series of simple and engaging projects, students are able to understand the difference between linear, square and cubic measurements. The projects are open ended to allow for students of varying abilities and needs, such as advanced and gifted students and also students with special needs.
