Includes a full lesson plan. Introduce students to the science behind plant growth with a scenario where a two plants with controlled variables are growing at different rates. Students use climate considerations, and evidence from the scenario to make a claim about why one plant is growing slower than another.
Students then use an article about photosynthesis (scaled to be glued into a composition notebook if needed) to find more evidence that supports their claim.
Two exit ticket options depending on how much of the lesson you get through, or needs of your classroom.
