Product Description
This product is a consumer letter assignment that can accompany multiple lessons and competencies for grades middle school through university in family and consumer sciences, business, civics, English, and consumerism.

You may assign all three letters to students or allow them to select one or two from the menu:

Letter 1: Complaint letter. Following the complaint letter example, write a detailed complaint letter addressing the following issue. You hired a writer from Turner’s Tutors (1234 Main Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060) to review and edit a research paper for a class that is due on (date) You paid $50.00 for the service and submitted your first draft on (date), but you have not received feedback as of today.

Letter 2: Elected official letter. Following the elected official letter example, write a detailed letter to a specific elected official concerning an issue at this school that is of interest to you. Be sure the issue falls within the parameters of consumer redress and consumer protection. In other words, issues of grading policies, parking, sports schedules, library hours, etc. are not what this letter should be about. Be sure that the official has a vested interest in this school.

Letter 3: Product review letter. Following the product review example, write a letter to myproductreviewblog.com, for consideration of your product review to post on the blog. Assume that you will be attaching this letter to a personal e-mail that you send.
