Content Flowers can be adapted to fit ANY subject area, content, or grade level. You can use one of the THREE lessons/activities that are already included (see below) or you can decide to have your students practice another skill. You can adjust what you want the students to write on the center of the flower, change the amount of petals or leaves they need, etc. in order to suit your needs. These content flowers are perfect for Spring and so adaptable! Can be used as a center, as a whole group after a lesson, or as review before testing. Great for a Spring bulletin board display, classroom display, or for students to take home!

1. The three different pre-planned activities for you to use (see below).

2. Tracing pieces in two different versions. One version is for if you print on white card stock and want the students to use them as tracing pieces - this version has the item title/use typed directly on the piece (ex: it will say "leaf" if that is meant to be a leaf, so students don't get confused between leaves and petals, etc.). The other version has the item title/usage typed next to it - this is great for if the teacher wants to skip the tracing step and print the pieces directly ON the colored paper for students to cut out. Saves time and then the usage title won't be written in the middle of the piece, blocking where the students are supposed to write their info. (See preview for better explanation).

3. Photos of every single activity included. Samples and photos of the early steps.

4. Teacher prep directions

5. Student steps directions for each of the three activities so that you can place them at a center and the students can follow the steps on their own.

The three activities included already:

1. Factor Flowers: very similar to the more commonly used "factor rainbows"; however, students are given the opportunity to create factor flowers for Spring! Students create factor flowers and place them in a flower pot, which contains the student's math work on a small worksheet. Students reinforce their factoring skills with this craftivity. Includes the factor flowers worksheet, and prime/composite number cards.

2. Word Study: students get a vocabulary word and fill in information for the part of speech, definition, synonyms, antonyms, and use it in a sentence.

3. Important Event: Students study an important event (in history or a current event) and fill in the information for the date of the event, important people involved, fun facts, causes of the event, and the effects of the event.
