A real WINNER!!! Students are given pictures and descriptions of birds. They are to read using context clues to match the picture with the definition. There are so many pictures that they can be divided into smaller groups. You can also use the same idea and make your own for definitions in content areas.
â—There really isn't a grade level attached to this because kids need context clues at any grade levels in order to read.
