This unit contains 30 slides that focus on helping children learn about context clues using real photos.
The ability to understand context clues is an important skill for young children. They have to be able to relate the whole to a part and a part to the whole. The use of attributes is also important in the understanding of these context clues. The students have to know what is being described in the sentence, how to narrow the field of choices, and decide which word completes the statement. They must have the ability to process, remember, and think!
Feedback from previous buyers: On February 19, 2016
"Love these slides! Kids really had a great time figuring out the correct word to use in each sentence. Great for my struggling learners."
This unit is designed to be printed in color (it does print well in black and white), laminated, and used with dry erase markers over and over!
