This is an awesome, interactive lesson to get your students to understand the evidence for the Theory of Continental Drift. Students will visit 6 stations, each describing a different piece of evidence. Throughout the stations activities, they will fill in their own continents handouts, showing where different fossils were found. At the end, they use the evidence they collected to try and piece together Pangaea. Students love this. It is student-centered, and gets them to a deeper understanding of how we know that the continents have drifted. It is a great introductory lesson for an Earth Science unit.
