This is an easy activity for students to complete independently or with a partner in stations. To differentiate for your weaker students, consider filling in the foldable ahead of time or providing them with a contractions word list. For your stronger students consider giving them the blank foldable then have them use the contractions they build to create sentences.
Directions: Students will cut out the foldable strips along the dottedf line and write a matching contraction word in the first box. Students will then fold the word strip to show the contraction.
Included are foldables for not, will, had, have, am and one blank foldable.
