This is a set of four contraction worksheets and a sorting activity that can be used for mini-lessons, independent practice, homework, and review!
In three of the worksheets, students read the two words and write the corresponding contraction as well as read the contraction and write the corresponding words. For the had/would worksheet, students must read the sentence and decide if the contraction used is a have or had contraction. (ex. "He'd been to the store twice this week." He had or He would)
In the sorting activity, students cut, sort, and paste the contractions to the coordinating base. (ex. can't, won't, shouldn't are "NOT" contractions)
