Change up how you teach the Industrial Revolution with this fun and engaging activity on the Contributors of the Industrial Revolution!
Instead of having students simply read about the contributors of the Industrial Revolution, allow them the opportunity to attend a press conference with the greatest inventors, scientists, and theorists of the time.
Students will research using suggested websites (or textbooks) to become knowledgeable on one of the contributors, and will be interviewed by other students on the second day of the activity. (Or all can be completed in one block period)
This activity is designed for a World History or European History class studying the Industrial Revolution.
A complete unit is also available in my Tpt store. A great review game for this activity is also available: Search for my Role Cards so students can play To Tell The Truth!
