    Description

Are you ready to try a different approach to practicing conversation skills? Do you love targeting multiple skills during one activity? Your students with Autism will love practicing this social skill as they have a pretend conversation with a famous person!

**You will save 30% off each of the individual resources by purchasing the bundle!****

    This resource includes:

    • Reading Passage: Students practice reading an expository text with a simple biography of a famous person's life. The reading passage can be used to teach your students about the person, practice reading skills, and introduce new vocabulary.
    • Topic Worksheet: Your students will use the information they learned from the reading passage to think about topics that they would like to talk about with that person.
    • Questions Worksheet: Your students will use the topics that they identified to think of questions they could ask during a conversation.
    • Comments Worksheet: Your students will use the topics that they identified to think of comments they could make during a conversation with the famous person they chose.
    • Ending the Conversation: Your students will brainstorm ways they could politely end a conversation with the famous person.

For additional practice, your students can take turns asking questions and pretending to answer them as if they were the famous person.
