This conversation self-evaluation form was created for use with conjunction with the Social Thinking® program created by Michelle Garcia Winner. Students need to be familiar with Social Thinking® vocabulary, such as unexpected and expected behavior, and brain and body in the group, before using this form to evaluate their performance in a conversation.
Students are asked to identify "expected" and "unexpected" behaviors during a video taped conversation. They are then asked to think about how these behaviors make others and themselves feel. Last, students use their "unexpected" behaviors to create goals for the future. This product is recommended for use with grades 6-12.
Please see www.socialthinking.com for more information about the Social Thinking® program. The terms "expected" and "unexpected" behavior, as well as "brain in the group" and "body in the group" are the intellectual property of Michelle Garcia Winner as part of the Social Thinking® program.
