Conversation Starters

Social skill free activity can be used alone or as a companion to Double Up. Double Up is a versatile social skills and vocabulary matching game geared towards students in middle and high school. The game allows students to discuss functional vocabulary geared towards hygiene and leisure items and actions. It is a 4 person game and it includes 144 vocabulary cards. It can be played with students who are non-verbal and those who are at the conversational level. These questions can be used to facilitate conversation about some of the items covered when playing Double Up.
