This PowerPoint file includes 42 conversation starter cards to help students with autism or other disabilities participate in academic and social situations. Choose the cards that are most appropriate for the user, laminate them, and put them on a keychain. The user can either show the cards to a conversation partner or read off of the cards when they need a reminder of what to say. Once cut, each card is approximately 1.2 in x 3.5 in (3 cm x 9 cm), or a little bigger than half of a credit card cut "hot dog style." The first page of the file is a page of suggested uses for the cards.
