This visual is perfect for targeting conversational skills in a individual or small group therapy setting. It provides a CHART & VISUAL FEEDBACK cards for categorizing "conversational maintenance" versus "conversational breakdown" to help students to self-monitor!
1) Print a copy of Page 1 & 2 for each student (laminate and cut out feedback cards on page 2). During real conversational practice with peers and/or adults, the teacher will provide the feedback cards to each student to place on their chart, in the appropriate column.
2) Page 3 provides an opportunity for students to review their conversational performance, fostering discussion of what was in their "thinking bubble" versus "talking bubble".
