This easy setup game is fun and gives students a lot of practice switching between fractions, decimals, and percents. Just print out the game board and laminate if you like. Enjoy!
Play in teams of 2, or 1 on 1. You need a pair of dice with six sides, two dry-erase markers & one game board. The first player rolls the dice and chooses a space on the board. For example, if player one rolls a 3 and a 6, he or she may choose the number in (3, 6) or (6, 3). Player one writes the number in that box on his/her paper and generates the other two forms of the number. For example, if a decimal is selected, the player must generate the fraction (in simplest form) and the percentage. If correct, player one initials that box on the grid. If incorrect, player two may steal the space by correctly writing the number in all three forms. The player who captures the most squares on the grid wins! Simplify all fractions and round percents to the nearest whole number.
