Description

This unique converting fractions, decimals, and percents self-checking math game is an engaging, easy way to review concepts as a whole class, in small groups, or individually.

(This is digital version of Converting Fractions, Decimals, and Percents Truth or Dare).

This math game begins with a Truth grid and Dare grid that allows students to navigate through 36 question cards and 36 answer cards in Google Slides.

  • As long as you have access to Google Slides, you can use this math game! (If you aren't using Google in your classroom but can access the Google link, you can download as a PPT and use in the same way.)

Check out the demo in the Preview above! It shows how students will use the game if you'd like them to play in Edit Mode and record their answers in the answer sheet.

To see the game in Present Mode also, head here.

The fraction, decimal, percent questions require students to:

  • Identify correct conversions
  • Identify correct 'rules'
  • Convert fractions to decimals and percents
  • Convert decimals to fractions and percents
  • Convert percents to fractions and decimals

The resource you download will be a PDF that includes:

  • Link to the game file
  • Detailed instructions for how to use it
  • Student directions for playing
  • Teacher answer key
  • A student paper recording sheet (in case you decide to have students record their answers on paper)
  • Link to a Google Form you can use if you'd prefer to have students view the game in Present mode

Playing the game:

Students can choose to answer "truth" questions (1 point), which are true or false questions about converting fractions, decimals and percents;

OR "dare" questions (2-3 points), which include more challenging questions addressing these concepts.
