This foldable has three flaps:
1.) Changing Fractions to Decimals
2.) Changing Terminating Decimals to Fractions
3.) Changing Repeating Decimals to Fractions
Each flap contains steps for students to fill in. Here are the answers:
1.) Divide the numerator by the denominator. (Number on top goes in the box.)
2.) Identify the place value of the digit farthest to the right. Then write all of the digits after the decimal point as the numerator. The place value is the denominator. Always simplify!
3.) Identify the place value of the digit farthest to the right. Subtract one. That number is the denominator. Then write all of the repeating digits as the numerator. Always simplify!
Each flap also contains several examples for students to complete.
