PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS before purchasing. I do not want you to be dissatisfied.

This package includes a power point followed up with 2 printable practice sheets that can be graded. The practice exercises have answer keys that follow. The power point introduces the concept of converting fractions to decimals by comparing it to money. It starts with the quarter, and how a quarter is 25 cents, .25, 1/4 of a dollar, and 25% of a dollar. It expands to challenge students to figure out 1/2 and 3/4, which can also easily be taught through the concept of money and $1.00. It shows students what do do when an answer tends to go on and on, explaining when to round down and when to round up. It includes the basic fractions of 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4, but goes on to take on random fractions. It is followed by 5 slides of interactive practice before the printables are introduced.
