This resource is all you need to teach your students how to convert measurements within the Metric and Customary measurement systems! It includes over 25 pages that are full of content and problems that will guide your class in understanding how to convert between larger and smaller units of measurement.
Included in the beginning of this product are ‘anchor pages’ that provide students with vital information that they will need to be familiar with throughout the unit. An optional strategy that we use for solving conversion problems is also available!
Our three main areas of focus include: length, mass/weight, and time. Multiple pages are provided for each section. This allows you to be flexible with how you want to teach each page! We have taught parts of the lessons as a whole class, partner work, or individual practice. Besides the three main topics, we have also added some real world story problems and homework to complete this unit. No worries – we have included an answer key for all the problems!
