This cooperative learning activity has students working in pairs to convert mixed numbers and improper fractions. Each student will solve 28 total problems, 14 converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and 14 converting mixed numbers to improper fractions.
Match Mine Directions
~ Person A’s first question will be person B’s first answer.
~ Person B’s first question will be person A’s first answer.
~ After each question, the partner can check the other partner’s answer.
~ This allows you to be free to roam the room to help.
~ I make my students show their work so they cannot just copy the answers from their partner.
~ Optional: Students can glue in an interactive notebook by folding on the grey dashed line and gluing down just the left tab.
*No separate answer key is provided since the other partner's worksheet has the correct answers.
