This matching game includes 40 puzzles pieces each with an improper fraction or mixed number on them. Students are to convert the mixed number into an improper fraction or the improper fraction into a mixed number to find its matching puzzle piece. This matching game is a wonderful way for students to practice converting in a small group math center or for test prep!

This matching game covers Common Core standard:
CCSS.Math.Content.4.NF.A.1 Explain why a fraction a/b is equivalent to a fraction (n × a)/(n × b) by using visual fraction models, with attention to how the number and size of the parts differ even though the two fractions themselves are the same size.
