Students practice the conversion of mixed numbers to improper fractions, using a QR code to check their paper. Can be used in group work, centers, independent checks. I use this as a refresher to my students and a warm-up before we begin our lesson on multiplication of mixed numbers. Students enjoy using the Ipads/Ipods/Electronic devices to check their answers.
****Have the students point their pencils to the QR reader they are trying to read so they know which ones to scan! I found this helped my students keep their place.***
