This Cookie Sheet Numbers 0-9 Matching Activity with Magnetic Numbers is a fun, hands-on way for young children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or first grade to practice matching numbers 0-9 to the same numbers printed in different fonts. Great for morning work, this helps kids practice visual discrimination while they learn which small differences in fonts are important which are not! This set includes cookie sheet worksheets in both color and in ink saving black and white.
The great thing about this activity is that it is simple enough that it can usually be done independently in kindergarten and even Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Pre-K! You could also skip the magnetic numbers and just use a dry erase marker, assuming you can put the sheets into a sleeve or laminate.
There are TWO different versions provided of this Number Matching Cookie Sheet Activity with Magnetic Numbers, plus some printable numbers:
-A set with numbers 0-9 printed in different fonts in FULL COLOR. Kids will match their plastic numbers to the numbers printed on the workmats.
-A set with numbers 0-9 printed in different fonts in Black & White. Kids will match their plastic numbers to the numbers printed on the workmats.
-Numbers to cut out, with two sets of numbers 0-9 on each page, provided in black, white with outline, gray, brown, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
The complete file with activity workmats, number organizer, and instructions is 42 pages long.
