Need a simple cooking lesson? This is a simple cooking activity that can be used to supplement a lesson on fractions or used with books such as "Turkey Trouble
" (we usually use this book at Thanksgiving time) or any book about pizza. You could also use this to celebrate National Pizza Month which is in October or as a fun snack for a Super Bowl party in your classroom. The possibilities are endless.
My Special Education students love to cook and it is a great way to work on following directions, sequencing, vocabulary, math skills and daily living skills.
This is a powerpoint presentation that gives step by step instructions with photographs on how to assemble the English Muffin Pizzas. Also included is a black and white PDF that you can use as a handout.
Always make sure to check for food allergies in your class. I was able to find all peanut free products using this recipe! I was super happy about that!
I hope you enjoy making this recipe with your class as much as I did! Your kids will gobble it up in no time!
Feel free to edit the power point to meet your needs.
