This is a fun lesson for spring that your students will love. My students went crazy over this lesson! First, we started with a Venn diagram comparing rabbits to bunny Peeps. Then we finished the lesson by making these super cool bunny race cars with marshmallow bunny Peeps.
This lesson includes the following:
1. PowerPoint presentation with step by step directions, with pictures, on how to make a bunny race car.
2. Venn diagram worksheet comparing rabbits to Peep bunnies
3. Smart Notebook document to use on the Smart Board of the same Venn diagram (above) for students to follow along and record answers as you write them.
This lesson would also be fun to use with the Tortoise and the Hare story.
My Special Education students love to cook and it is a great way to work on following directions, sequencing, vocabulary, reading skills, math skills and daily living skills.
Always make sure to check for food allergies in your class.
I hope you enjoy making this recipe with your class as much as I did! Your kids will gobble it up in no time!
