There are two 1-page long primary sources that I use in my classes. One pertains to cooperation/conflict between Indians and Europeans and the other deals with the Great Awakening. I use them as practice activities with my classes to cite evidence from primary sources. They both are relatively easy reads and the kids enjoy them and then writing afterwards.
8.9 Cite textual evidence analyzing examples of both cooperation and conflict between American Indians and colonists, including agriculture, trade, cultural exchanges, and military alliances and conflicts.
8.11- Describe the significance of and the leaders of the First Great Awakening, and the growth in religious toleration and free exercise of religion.
