These cooperative grouping cards can come in handy in many ways! I have used them to create random groups of 3 or 4 students for games involving teams, art projects, centers, brainstorming/discussion groups, and more. When creating a group of 3 students, I hold up or display the scene card and the students receive the image cards. They find the scene that matches their card to join that group. When creating a group of 4 students, I also pass out the scene card. The student who receives the scene card is the team captain/supply manager/discussion leader (whatever leadership role suits the purpose of the task).
This freebie includes 10 sets (each with 1 scene card and 3 individual scene images):
-Three Little Pigs
-the rain forest
Later today, I will be sharing a blog post on using these cards effectively. Please stop by my blog for more tips about this grouping strategy.
