This is a simple, one page colored handout that list 5 roles and the responsibilities associated with each of those roles to help students stay on track during collaborative learning experiences. This is a great tool to print on cardstock and laminate as you will find yourself using it often to assist students in being accountable as individuals during a group activity, lab, or project. The five roles are: leader, time keeper, materials manager, helper, and speaker. Each role has a few bullet points of what is expected, which keeps it simple and easy to remember. I find that my students prefer for me to use this tool because it makes group tasks more enjoyable and everyone has to participate and help out!
