Do you have an extra large number of students you'd like to have collaborate on a project? If so, this 297 tile mural of seven galloping horses might be just the thing. Just like my other cooperative projects but three times as long. As is, this constructs to make a mural 13.5 feet long and 5.5 feet tall. But, as always, one can manipulate the print size to adjust the final outcome. My cooperative posters feature two versions of the project for a single purchase. More information about these projects can be found here.
Coop Coloring Grids provide pre-printed tiles to be colored in your choice of media and assembled into a large final design. Coop Grid Drawings feature the additional challenge of having the students draw the tiles themselves. Both variations are included in the product.
Distribute individual sections to draw or color and then assemble into a four-foot-wide artwork. Encourage your students to experiment with different materials and styles to create a unique and expressive patchwork design...Or direct them toward a more unified outcome. Comes out different every time. Will you tell them what the image is or just let it be a surprise?
A separate handout for each section with directions for execution and assembly. 297 separate sections to distribute. Note that some tiles are very simple or even blank so students may be issued multiple tiles to complete. Too large?...Simply reduce your copy size to get a smaller end result.
Great for art and math...or any class! PDF format.
