This is my version of labeling desks so student always know who has what job, or who their partner is.
I have included students 1-8. They are also labeled with A or B for a face/shoulder partner, and then a peanut butter or jelly picture, to help identify another possible grouping. This is a perfect way to really increase the use of "partner talk" in your classroom.
I use these to also give jobs in my classroom. "Number 3's, you need to collect the papers from your table." "Number 4's you are responsible for the materials." etc. It is a great management strategy!
