Two activities to get students plotting co-ordinates and thinking about shapes drawn on a co-ordinate plane.
*Which co-ordinates make a square?*
Students have to plot a set of co-ordinates and then join them up to form squares, kites, isosceles triangles, rectangles etc.
*Find the missing co-ordinates*
A set of squares with either one of two co-ordinates missing. Students must use the fact that all the sides of a square are equal to find the remaining co-ordinates. Becomes more difficult when the squares are tilted.
