Product Description
In my classroom, I use this as a way to formatively assess math, after learning a new concept. The students receive 3 practice sheets, with the different mountains labeled at the top. Each mountain represents a different thinking level:

Mount Columbia ( largest in Alberta): Practicing
Mount Logan(largest in Canada): Understanding
Mount Everest(largest in the world): Applying

As they complete each sheet ( and get it checked), they go up to the Mountain bulletin board, and move their clothes pin with their name on it. My kids love doing this because it allows them to take a movement break. After class I can see who is still working on the concept, and who has mastered it.

You can also use this worksheet as a differentiated worksheet package, and have kids only answer up to their specific level.
