This presentation is 13 slides. It explains coordinating and subordinating conjunctions and provides an acronym for remembering coordinating conjunctions. There are explanation slides with examples, as well as practice slides for the students so that the presentation can be interactive.
When I use this with my students, I provide a copy of the presentation for them to have at their desk as well. I usually take out the slides that have the answers on them. Then, as students are coming up to the whiteboard to give an answer, the students at their seats can be highlighting or writing answers as well.
I follow this lesson up with practice in class or at home, depending on the time that we have.
