PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Young adults will create their own individualized notebook to practice coping strategies for anxiety, anger, stress, depression, and other strong emotions. First, kids will design their notebook with a coloring page. Then, they will identify their top coping strategies they want to practice. Finally, they will put pages together to design their own coping strategies notebook. Different versions are included so that you can use photos of your student in their own notebook! This notebook is specially designed to appeal to older students from middle to high school.

Why Teach Coping Strategies
Coping strategies are activities and tasks that kids and young adults can perform to help reduce feelings of anger, anxiety, stress, and sadness. It's important that kids must practice coping strategies when they are calm in order to benefit from them when they are overwhelmed with emotions.

Once students develop their own binder, they will be able to use it when they become angry, sad, anxious, or upset. Best of all, it can serve as a resource in a variety of settings, including school and home.
